This role is designed for experienced collision professionals with a proven background in complete teardown blueprinting, OEM repair methodology, and advanced damage analysis. Responsibilities
- Perform complete vehicle teardowns and develop thorough repair blueprints
- Write accurate estimates using CCC / Mitchell / Audatex (as applicable)
- Research and follow OEM repair procedures, structural guidelines, and scanning requirements
- Identify all damage upfront to minimize supplements and cycle time
- Communicate clearly with technicians, parts, and production teams
- Work with insurance partners while advocating for proper, safe repairs
- Support quality control and ensure repairs meet BodyWerk's standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Estimator, Repair Planner, or Blueprinter
- Strong understanding of blueprinting, teardown, and repair planning processes
- Knowledge of OEM procedures, scanning, and documentation best practices
- Mercedes-Benz Elite, Commercial Van, Land Rover, and or Volvo Certification preferred but not required
- I-CAR Platinum or ability to maintain
- Ability to write complete, compliant, and accurate estimates
- CCC One blueprinting experience preferred
- Knowledge of aluminum, UHSS, and structural repair
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service ability
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
