Byron Outdoor Superstore, Middle Georgia’s premier Powersports, Tractor, RV, and Marine dealership, is seeking an experienced Outdoor Parts & Inventory Manager to lead our growing Parts Department and oversee inventory operations across multiple product lines including ATV, UTV, motorcycle, marine, tractor, and outdoor power equipment. This role requires hands-on experience in both parts operations and inventory management, with the ability to organize, lead, and streamline systems for maximum accuracy and efficiency. You’ll work closely with technicians, vendors, and management to ensure every part, order, and process supports the dealership’s commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Parts Department and inventory control functions
- Manage parts ordering, receiving, labeling, and storage for all product lines
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and reporting
- Support technicians and retail customers with accurate parts lookup and fulfillment
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and coordinate pricing and delivery
- Track inventory trends, manage returns, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Train, mentor, and supervise team members to maintain consistent standards and productivity
- Work closely with service and sales departments to ensure timely parts availability
Requirements
- Experience in both Parts Department operations and Inventory Management is mandatory
- Background in Powersports, Marine, RV, Tractor, or Outdoor Equipment dealership strongly preferred
- Automotive Parts experience will also be considered
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with parts catalogs, inventory software, and vendor management systems
- Leadership experience or the ability to manage a small team effectively
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate or learn to operate a forklift
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
