Central Jeep Chrysler Dodge RAM of Norwood is seeking to hire an experienced Truck Mechanic / Technician specifically to work on ProMasters and Light and Heavy trucks. The ideal candidate will have suspension experience and be able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair all makes of trucks. Troubleshoot, diagnose problem(s) and perform quality repair/maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose problem(s) and perform quality repair/maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards Estimate time and parts needed for repair/maintenance Install equipment, components, and systems, including engine, chassis, frame, cab, body, drive train, steering, fuel, hydraulic, transmission, electrical and electrical systems. Document work performed Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions Keep shop neat and account for dealership owned tools Other duties may be assigned according to exp Follow company policies and procedures

Requirements

Truck mechanic experience is required Stellantis level 3 training preferred but not required ProMaster experience is a PLUS! Diesel experience is preferred The ideal candidate will 5+ years’ experience preferred Automotive dealership experience is preferred General knowledge of foundation, hydraulic and ABS brake systems Good problem solving, communication, and customer service skills A positive attitude and works well as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent Driver's license and good driving record Please upload your resume and complete the online assessment Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
