Job Description

Implement and maintain an effective dispatch system for repair orders Schedule shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and the technician skill level required and more.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain an effective dispatch system for repair orders
  • Schedule shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and the technician skill level required
  • Dispatch, organize and control the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner
  • Support the Service Manager in daily operations of the Service Department
  • Assist in managing service staff, scheduling, and performance reviews
  • Review work order with customer to ensure satisfaction
  • Ensure consistent follow-ups to increase customer loyalty and CSI
  • Solve problems and meet predetermined service and sales objectives
  • Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Ensure proper maintenance and repair of all equipment

Requirements

  • Previous dealership Service or Parts management preferred but we will train candidates with Service Advisor experience
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with staff, customers, and other departments. 
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze situations, make sound judgments, and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with dispatch software, computer systems, and standard office equipment. 
  • Customer Service: A focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to handle difficult situations with courtesy and professionalism. 
  • Adaptability: The capacity to remain calm and make timely decisions and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
