Cherokee County Toyota is hiring now for full-time Body Shop Collision Repair Technicians for our Collision Center. Our facility is state-of-the-art, and if you take pride in your work in restoring vehicles to their pre-collision condition, we would like to talk with you! Job Description
Approaches repair planning with a sense of urgency and detail to avoid waste and rework later in the process. De-trims and disassembles vehicles, putting parts on parts carts. Performs pre-pulls to make repair vs. replace decisions.

Responsibilities
- Pre-Op and Repair Planning: Approaches repair planning with a sense of urgency and detail to avoid waste and rework later in the process. De-trims and disassembles vehicles, putting parts on parts carts. Performs pre-pulls to make repair vs. replace decisions.
- Parts Procurement: Assists in identifying and sourcing parts as necessary. Uses good judgment in determining when damaged parts can be safely repaired for cost and cycle-time savings. Helps maintain parts/materials carts in an organized manner.
- Vehicle Repair: Performs quality repairs without passing on defects. Meets or exceeds our requirements for productivity as measured by hours per day for each repair order. Utilizes the technical information sheet attached to the work order for all structural repairs, replacement, airbag and mechanical work.
- Safe & Organized Workplace: Consistently utilizes all required safety equipment and follows proper repair procedures. Adheres to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal. Participates in monthly safety meetings and utilizes information on the job. Keeps personal work area organized and returns tools, materials and equipment to designated areas.
Requirements
- Experience required
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Knowledge of manufacturers’ repair processes & adherence to Cherokee Toyota Collision Center’s technical repair processes
- Must have a critical eye for detail and quality
- Ability to use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures
- Must maintain a valid state driver’s license in order to drive any customer or company vehicle
- ASE certification in body repairs a plus!
- Toyota experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrated commitment to continued learning by ongoing participation in I-CAR
- I-CAR Welding Certificate a plus!
- Reliable attendance required
