Responsible for the success and profitability of vehicle sales, sales team management and more.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the success and profitability of vehicle sales, sales team management and more.
  • Hire, train and manage a high-performance sales team
  • Drive sales and produce results
  • Desk deals
  • Manage used car inventory levels and days in stock
  • Appraise and buy cars
  • Purchase used cars
  • Manage certified pre-owned program
  • Work with Parts & Service Director to shepherd used cars through reconditioning
  • Coordinate sales of all wholesale vehicles
  • Order new vehicles
  • Monitor contracts in transit lists

Requirements

  • Required: Auto Sales Manager experience
  • Strong leadership, sales management, and closing skills
  • Team builder
  • Outgoing with excellent communication, presentation and social media skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated to succeed
  • Proficient in computing and quoting sales price
  • Understands dealership operations including all aspects of sales and finance
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service - before, during and after a sale
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
