Responsibilities
- Guide service department customers through the auto repair and maintenance process, advise customers on service options and costs, offer 'specials' and additional services, schedule service work and more.
- Greet customers and answer questions, follow status of customer's vehicle from service bay entry through completion of work, keep customers informed of changes, ensure customer's concerns were addressed and they are satisfied
- Learn about our service offerings, including technical aspects, benefits, and value propositions.
- Stay current with industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Investigate and solve customer complaints, escalating complex issues to management
- Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions and service appointments.
- Meet sales goals and maintain a high CSI
Requirements
- Auto dealership Service Advisor experience is preferred
- A goal driven self-starter with good sales, computer, customer service, communication, and listening skills
- Automotive mechanical operational knowledge
- A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Dependable, energetic, pleasant and conscientious
- Works well with others in a team atmosphere
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must pass pre-employment background, MVR, and drug screen.
