Job Description
Quickly and efficiently perform routine maintenance and service, and identify the cause of defects, and trouble-shoot and repair them using the most optimal solutions and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Quickly and efficiently perform routine maintenance and service, and identify the cause of defects, and trouble-shoot and repair them using the most optimal solutions and efficiency.
- Confer with customers or service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and discuss work to be performed.
- Make sure to completely notate repairs and concerns though ADP/CDK
- Test and adjust required systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
- Ensure that the shop is in excellent condition with regard to cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition, and conduct periodic spot checks to maintain high-quality service.
- Test-drive vehicles; testing components and systems; using equipment such as infrared engine analyzer, compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices.
Requirements
- Nissan certification preferred – we will pay for certification
- At least two years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
- ASE certification preferred but not required
- Understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations, but also to comply with these regulations as well as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know regulations and provide necessary training on these regulations and ethical practices.
- Be prepared to work extended hours when necessary to achieve goals.
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
- Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Computer skills.
- Must supply own tools (special/job-specific tools and equipment provided by dealership)
