Denny Menholt University Honda is seeking a customer-focused Automotive Parts Advisor to support a busy service and retail operation by accurately sourcing, ordering, and supplying parts to technicians and customers. This role is ideal for a parts professional who takes pride in precision, organization, and being the behind-the-scenes driver of a productive, profitable service department. Automotive Parts experience is preferred, but Parts Retail experience in related industries such as RV, Marine, or Powersports are welcome to apply! Assist technicians, service advisors, and customers with parts selection and pricing Accurately identify, source, and order OEM and aftermarket parts Process parts sales, returns, and special orders and more.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians, service advisors, and customers with parts selection and pricing
• Accurately identify, source, and order OEM and aftermarket parts
• Process parts sales, returns, and special orders
• Maintain proper inventory levels and organization
• Receive, stock, and label incoming parts shipments
• Use electronic parts catalogs and dealership management systems
• Ensure timely parts delivery to service bays to minimize downtime
• Provide professional, friendly customer service at the counter and over the phone
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

• Parts Counter Person / Advisor experience is required
• Automotive experience is preferred, but Parts Retail experience in related industries such as RV, Marine, or Powersports are welcome to apply!
• Honda / Import Parts experience a plus
• A friendly 'people person' with good computer/data entry skills
• Good customer service and communications skills
• Good work ethic and computer skills
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
