Job Description

Communicates effectively with Internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication, whether by phone, e-mail or in person. Has thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services. Satisfies the transportation needs of Internet-generated customers.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects via phone, text, email, and in person with the ability to progress customers through a transaction. Continued Training of all the Ford products Work towards setting appointments, presenting products in a knowledgeable and professional way, and getting commitments from customers to close deals on shown appointments. Manage own pipeline of customers creating appointments from opportunities. Assists customers in selecting a vehicle. Checks e-mail frequently and responds to inquiries immediately. Delivers messages intended for other departments promptly. Notifies customers that their messages have been forwarded to the appropriate personnel for prompt attention. Maintains an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business. Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers. Attends product and sales training as requested by sales manager. Attends sales meetings. Maintains professional appearance. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Automotive Internet Sales experience preferred but not required; sales experience in any industry will be considered Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday Conviction towards providing the best possible customer experience while working towards the close of a deal Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections Quality customer service skills and sales track record Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process Persistent, competitive and good work ethic Focuses on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales Resume must be uploaded, and online assessment completed for immediate consideration. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident. Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
