Furrow Automotive Group in Chattanooga is looking to hire an experienced Automotive Dealership Inventory and Billing Manager who will be responsible for managing and reconciling all vehicle inventory records and coordinating the billing and documentation process for bought and sold vehicles. Job Description

Responsibilities – Inventory Manager: Track and maintain accurate records of all new and used vehicle inventory. Enter and update vehicle information in dealership management systems (e.g. CDK; Reynolds & Reynolds). Perform regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Coordinate vehicle deliveries and transfers between dealerships. Ensure timely receipt and posting of factory invoices. Monitor aging inventory and provide reporting for sales and management. Assist with inventory pricing and lot merchandising processes. Work with vendors for vehicle transportation and reconditioning. Ensure that accurate records are kept, processing is efficient, and regulations are compliant Work closely with the sales, finance, and accounting teams to support dealership operations. Responsibilities – Biller: Prepare and process all vehicle retail and wholesale billing. Verify sales documents, titles, payoff information, rebates, and dealer incentives. Ensure proper sales tax, registration, and titling charges are applied. Post vehicle sales in accounting and reconcile schedules. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g. DMV; lienholder requirements). Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate with banks, finance companies, and customers as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in an automotive dealership environment, preferably in inventory or billing roles is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Proficient in dealership software (e.g. CDK; Reynolds & Reynolds) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of state DMV regulations and automotive titling processes.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • A positive attitude and works well as part of a team
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. for inventory materials or audit work.
