Responsibilities
- Manage an efficient automotive Service Department, schedule appointments, provide estimates and quotes, ensure all service work is completed correctly in a timely manner, and more.
- Greet customers and ascertain their needs.
- Provide customers with information on services and products.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and document findings.
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians.
- Explain services and repairs to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide cost estimates for services and repairs.
- Ensure maintenance and repairs are performed correctly
- Maintain customer records and update customer information in the database.
- Hire and manage automotive technicians, service advisors, and support personnel
- Oversee employee training and development
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and increase customer loyalty
- Set and obtain sales objectives and control costs
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and a safe working environment
Requirements
- Automotive service management experience is required. Chevrolet experience is a plus!
- Excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of automotive repair/ maintenance and dealership flow, and takes pride in satisfied customers.
- Good leadership and management skills
