Honda of Murfreesboro is looking for a motivated Auto Body Painter Apprentice to join our growing collision center. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in automotive refinishing while learning from experienced collision repair professionals. If you have experience with vehicle prep, sanding, masking, detailing, paint preparation, collision repair, or simply have a strong work ethic and a desire to learn, we'll provide the hands-on training and support to help you develop into a skilled Automotive Painter.
Job Description
Prepare vehicles and panels for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming surfaces Assist Painters with paint mixing, application, and refinishing processes and more.

Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and panels for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming surfaces
- Assist Painters with paint mixing, application, and refinishing processes
- Buff, polish, and perform final finish work
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Properly care for tools, equipment, and paint materials
- Learn manufacturer repair and refinishing procedures
- Deliver quality workmanship while meeting production goals
Requirements
- Previous automotive, collision repair, body shop, paint prep, detailing, or related experience is a plus but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
