Huntington Honda is looking for a skilled, motivated Flat Rate / Line Technician to join our growing team. This is a mid-level position (not express or entry-level) and ideal for a tech with solid experience and at least 2 ASEs (preferred, not required). If you're confident handling brakes, suspension, diagnostics, and general line work, you'll fit right in. We know flat rate techs want consistency and support, and that’s exactly what we provide. Responsibilities
- Perform general automotive repairs including brakes, suspension, engine, cooling, electrical, and diagnostics
- Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using scan tools and manufacturer procedures
- Complete flat-rate service and repair work efficiently and within manufacturer and dealership guidelines
- Document all work performed clearly and thoroughly for warranty and customer-pay jobs
- Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate estimates and timely customer communication
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Participate in ongoing training and certification opportunities to advance your skills
Requirements
- Experience in general automotive repair (brakes, suspension, diagnostics, etc.)
- At least 2 ASE certifications preferred
- A reliable, self-motivated work ethic and positive attitude
- Dealership service department experience a plus!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
