Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival in the service lane. Listen carefully to customer concerns, document repair needs, and communicate clearly with technicians and more.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival in the service lane.
  • Listen carefully to customer concerns, document repair needs, and communicate clearly with technicians.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates, timelines, and recommendations for necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the repair process, ensuring customers are informed and satisfied every step of the way.
  • Review vehicle inspections and communicate technician findings clearly and honestly.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to effectively answer customer questions.
  • Prepare repair orders, process payments, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
  • Follow up after service visits to maintain relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Work collaboratively with technicians, parts staff, and management to meet service goals.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Previous Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Basic computer literacy — familiarity with service management software or CRMs preferred.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and team oriented.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
