Process vehicle titles and registrations in compliance with state and federal regulations

Responsibilities
- Process vehicle titles and registrations in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Ensure all paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted within required timeframes
- Handle titling for new, used, wholesale, and out-of-state transactions
- Follow up with sales and finance departments on missing or incomplete documents
- Maintain records of all outstanding title work and report status as needed
- Break down deals and post used vehicle purchases in accounting
- Process warranties, extended service contracts, and related documentation
- Respond promptly to banks, customers, and internal teams regarding title issues
- Prepare payoff checks for trade-ins and new vehicle purchases
- Maintain accurate logs and organized filing systems
- Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- At least 1 year of automotive title clerk or dealership office experience required
- Experience with DMV/BMV title processing and vehicle registration
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Applicants are required to have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Applicants must include completing and passing both a background and drug test as a condition of employment.
