Kia of East Hartford is hiring now for a BDC / Internet Sales Representative for our Business Development Center. Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidates. This is a great opportunity for applicants with automotive BDC experience, or for someone with customer service/telephone contact experience.   KIA of East Hartford is a new and used KIA dealership are we also serve KIA drivers in the Bristol, Enfield, Columbia and Wallingford areas which are less than 20 minutes away. Job Description

Work on-site to answer internet and phone requests for vehicle information, pricing, availability, etc., schedule several appointments/day for potential customers and schedule appointments for Product Specialists to finalize the sale, and more. Call and email new inquiries promptly Follow up on internet sales leads Identify customer's needs, answer questions in a pleasant manner, and assist customers to the best of your ability

Responsibilities

  • Work on-site to answer internet and phone requests for vehicle information, pricing, availability, etc., schedule several appointments/day for potential customers and schedule appointments for Product Specialists to finalize the sale, and more.
  • Call and email new inquiries promptly
  • Follow up on internet sales leads
  • Identify customer's needs, answer questions in a pleasant manner, and assist customers to the best of your ability
  • Make outbound calls for appointment reminders, reschedule missed appointments, etc.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries to ensure they are satisfied 
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications in the CRM System
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Sales experience preferred
  • Good communication, customer service, telephone and computer skills
  • Call Center or BDC, Business Development Center experience is preferred
  • Auto dealership experience is a plus
  • Must have good computer skills
  • A good work ethic and self-motivated to succeed!
  • A positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
