Job Description

Accurately process payroll for all dealership employees, ensuring timeliness and compliance Maintain up-to-date payroll records while adhering to regulatory requirements and more.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process payroll for all dealership employees, ensuring timeliness and compliance
• Maintain up-to-date payroll records while adhering to regulatory requirements
• Ensure proper tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and alignment with employment laws
• Prepare and reconcile payroll-related reports as needed
• Manage payroll and accounting tasks using Reynolds and Reynolds software
• Perform general accounting duties, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Coordinate with management regarding employee onboarding, updates, and terminations related to payroll
• Support year-end reporting processes, including W-2 preparation and audit documentation
• Provide additional support with day-to-day dealership accounting functions as necessary

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with finance, payroll, and/or accounting in an automotive dealership is required
• Proficiency in Reynolds and Reynolds payroll and accounting systems is a must
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
• Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• No formal degree required – real-world dealership experience is what matters most
