Provide top-notch customer service by assisting customers in selecting and purchasing the correct automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles

Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch customer service by assisting customers in selecting and purchasing the correct automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles
- Support service technicians by accurately issuing parts for scheduled repairs and maintenance
- Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email regarding parts availability, pricing, compatibility, and lead times
- Utilize parts lookup systems, OEM catalogs, and online resources to source and order auto parts efficiently
- Manage parts orders, receive incoming shipments, and accurately replenish inventory
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked parts department and ensure proper labeling and storage
- Perform local parts deliveries and pickups as needed
- Maintain and update inventory control systems and parts database with accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
- Previous experience working with GM parts in a dealership setting is REQUIRED
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an Automotive Parts Counter or Parts Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of GM parts systems, OEM catalogs, and GM electronic parts ordering tools
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and dealership DMS software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient with computers, online ordering systems, and point-of-sale software
- Ability to work full-time, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and lift automotive parts when necessary
- Team-oriented, dependable, and committed to accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
