Job Description

Perform accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Buick, GMC, and Hummer vehicles

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Buick, GMC, and Hummer vehicles
• Follow factory and dealership repair procedures and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair timelines, recommendations, and parts needs
• Document all work performed using the dealership’s repair order system
• Conduct thorough multi-point inspections to identify potential issues
• Stay current on GM technical bulletins, recall procedures, and service updates
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for dealership tools and equipment
• Collaborate with parts and service teams to ensure timely completion of work
• Provide excellent customer service when needed to support service advisors

Requirements

• 2+ years automotive service technician experience is required
• Previous hands-on experience working with Chevy and/or GMC vehicles is HIGHLY preferred!
• ASE certifications strongly preferred; GM certifications a plus
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair orders
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Willingness to complete manufacturer training and certifications as needed
