Job Description

Assess & Plan Projects: Disassemble vehicles and parts, evaluate restoration needs, and plan high-quality repair and fabrication work and more.

Responsibilities

  • Assess & Plan Projects: Disassemble vehicles and parts, evaluate restoration needs, and plan high-quality repair and fabrication work
  • Metalwork & Fabrication: Perform welding (MIG/TIG), soldering, panel shaping, and custom metal fabrication
  • Surface Prep & Paint: Sand, fill, prime, and refinish vehicles to match original or custom finishes
  • Detailing & Fitment: Ensure precise fit and alignment of body panels, trim, and structural components
  • Project Execution: Follow shop protocols and high standards of craftsmanship
  • Shop Support: Maintain clean, safe workspace and assist teammates to meet project timelines

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 - 5+ years in the automotive industry (restoration, metalwork, welding, or fabrication experience required)
  • Demonstrated passion and skill in custom or detailed vehicle projects
  • Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding, metal shaping, and fabrication
  • Experience with sanding, prepping, and painting (including spray booth work and color matching)
  • Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, or reference images for restoration accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to produce excellent work
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate in a team-driven environment
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (technical school completion or apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred)
