As a Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a wide variety of vehicles—from golf carts and ATVs to scooters, e-bikes, and trailers. You'll work hands-on in a fast-paced service department, performing diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance to keep our customers' equipment running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, has strong mechanical skills, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship across a range of vehicle types and brands. Job Description

Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on a variety of vehicles, including gas and electric golf carts, ATVs, UTVs, e-bikes, scooters, and other powersports equipment

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on a variety of vehicles, including gas and electric golf carts, ATVs, UTVs, e-bikes, scooters, and other powersports equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues with precision and efficiency
  • Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure all vehicles meet quality and safety standards before reaching the customer
  • Install, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components such as solenoids, controllers, electric motors, switches, steering racks, hydraulic and mechanical brake systems, tie rods, and brake cables
  • Perform light welding and fabrication work as needed to repair or customize carts and components
  • Utilize diagnostic software to identify and resolve performance issues
  • Read and interpret wiring and parts diagrams to ensure accurate repairs
  • Maintain clear and detailed service records, entering notes into the system for the Service Advisor team
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, and assist in the assembly of new units as needed

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a technician in powersports, small engine repair, automotive, solar, or HVAC fields preferred
  • Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to read technical manuals, wiring schematics, and use diagnostic tools
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items, including batteries (80+ lbs.)
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using service and diagnostic software
  • Welding and fabrication skills a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
