Wholesale Unlimited is a family-owned, high-volume used car dealership in Memphis, TN, and we’re looking for an experienced Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic to join our team. We offer competitive pay (up to $35/hour DOE) and a family-oriented, team atmosphere with plenty of steady work. If you have 3 – 5+ years of mechanic experience (ASE certification a plus) and a strong work ethic, this is a great opportunity. No weekends – enjoy a Monday–Friday (9am–5pm) schedule with work-life balance. We’ll even beat your current pay (just bring a recent pay stub to your interview). Job Description

Inspect and diagnose used vehicles of all makes/models, perform reconditioning and repairs to meet dealership and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose used vehicles of all makes/models, perform reconditioning and repairs to meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Carry out routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires, etc.) and complex repairs as needed, ensuring quality and safety.
  • Test-drive vehicles before and after service to verify all issues are resolved.
  • Maintain clear repair records, document services performed and communicate findings with the team.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and keep the shop clean and organized (account for all tools and equipment).
  • Collaborate with other technicians and team members in our fast-paced, high-volume environment; assist on additional tasks or projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years as an automotive technician or auto mechanic required (dealership or shop experience preferred).
  • Skills: Solid diagnostic and repair skills on domestic and imported cars/trucks. ASE certification(s) preferred but not required.
  • Tools: Must have your own basic mechanic’s tool set (we provide tool relocation assistance to help move your toolbox).
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work efficiently in a busy shop.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills are a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
