Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing BDC team.
- Monitor team performance, ensuring goals and metrics are met.
- Foster a positive, results-oriented work environment.
- Oversee timely, professional responses to internet leads via phone and email.
- Develop strategies to improve lead-to-appointment conversion.
- Ensure CRM systems track leads and communication effectively.
- Align BDC goals with dealership objectives in partnership with the sales team.
- Track and report appointment outcomes to improve closing rates.
- Analyze KPIs such as response times, conversion, and show rates.
- Provide regular performance updates to leadership.
- Ensure all customer interactions reflect exceptional service.
- Develop follow-up strategies to re-engage interested but unvisited customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a BDC, internet sales, or similar role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of achieving sales and customer service goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building rapport.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Valid driver's license
