Job Description

The Account Manager is tasked with managing business relationships on a monthly basis through regular phone contact and email follow up. The Account Manager is responsible for the management of monthly sales orders and relationships with their assigned customers.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the company's sales target
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts
  • Manage and solve issues or conflicts with clients and refer to management when necessary
  • Seek to understand the customer's preferences by building good rapport and planning how to meet their individual demands.
  • Anticipate needs to add to product value on a consistent basis.
  • Add to the company’s value by setting and reaching goals.
  • Meet time deadlines for accounts
  • Establish regular monthly contact and follow up with customers

Requirements

  • Outgoing personality and high aptitude for sales and customer service
  • Ability to quickly establish good customer rapport
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Previous experience in an account manager or sales/customer service position required
  • Professional communication and phone skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Good planning and organization abilities
  • Salesforce CRM experience is preferred but not required
